Tania Kolympari holds a PhD from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Ioannina, specializing in Educational Policy and Assessment. She has two postgraduate degrees (M.Ed), the first one was awarded by the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Athens, and the second (MA) by the University of Rome. She also has a BA in Early Childhood Education from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a BA in Primary Education from the University of Athens. Her research focuses on comparative pedagogy, educational policy and evaluation, interest groups in education and political sociology. For her PhD she received a scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation and has been honored with awards of excellence and distinctions for her postgraduate and undergraduate studies. She has also published books, chapters in collective volumes and research papers in international and Greek scientific journals and has participated in research projects.

Η κα Κολυμπάρη είναι διδάκτορας Παιδαγωγικής του Τμήματος Φιλοσοφίας του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων με εξειδίκευση στην Εκπαιδευτική Πολιτική και την Αξιολόγηση.  Διαθέτει δύο μεταπτυχιακούς τίτλους σπουδών (MEd) από τους οποίους ο πρώτος της απονεμήθηκε από το Τμήμα Φιλοσοφίας, Παιδαγωγικής και Ψυχολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, και ο δεύτερος (ΜΑ) από το Πανεπιστήμιο της Ρώμης. Είναι επίσης, κάτοχος δύο πτυχίων (ΒΑ) από τα οποία το ένα της χορηγήθηκε από το Τμήμα Προσχολικής Αγωγής και Εκπαίδευσης του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης και το άλλο από το Παιδαγωγικό Τμήμα Δημοτικής Εκπαίδευσης του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών.
