Christina Kapsimalakou studied at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in the Faculty of Philosophy, Pedagogics and Psychology (PPP), whence she completed her postgraduate studies. She is a Doctor of Philosophy of the Department of Philosophy of the University of Patra. She has also completed Postdoctoral Research in the domain of Philosophy in the Faculty of Philosophy, Pedagogics and Psychology (PPP) of the School of Philosophy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She currently teaches “Ancient – Byzantine philosophy” on a contractual basis at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Ioannina. Her research focuses on matters of Ancient Greek, Neoplatonic and Byzantine Philosophy, as well as Bioethics. She has published in both Greek and international journals.
