Lia Mela is Assistant Professor in Political Philosophy. She studied Law (B.A., Law School, Aristotelian University) and Philosophy and she obtained a PhD in Philosophy having submitted a thesis on John Rawls’s theory (B.A. & PhD, Department of Philosophy, Pedagogics and Psychology, University of Ioannina). She previously taught in the Philosophy Department of University of Patras. Before her current appointment she was a faculty member in the Political Science Department of Democritus University of Thrace.
