Ioannis Ninos studied Cinema Theory at Paris 1 University of the Sorbonne and continued with postgraduate studies in Philosophy at the same institution. He completed a thesis in Philosophy at the Technical University of Crete and a subject of Logic in Hegel and Marx. He has carried out independent post-doctoral research as a scholarship holder of the University of Ioannina.
